i think Haibara will cool down from 'grumpy sour-puss' mode pretty quickly after that bath scene. she'll return to kuudere for him quickly. but Ayumi? ahhh... she might be a problem. hopefully she's not, 'you saw, you saw, now we have to get married!' and gets even more clingy and insistent with Conan.

Anyone else notice this series has gotten a little more pervy in the last hundred or so episodes? They've always shied away from cases involving any kind of s*xual assault (thankfully) and there's still never any real fan-service scenes, but between the pervy director here saying he wants the lead actress to do "wet scenes" with a lecherous grin on his face, the part in the recent bank robbery case where one of the criminals attempted to take off Jodie sensei's undies in the bathroom, the scene in the Mansion of Death/Red Wall case where Kogorou pretends to steal a ladies undies off her balcony clothes line, the bit in the Kirin's Horn case where Haibara implies Conan is lying on the floor at an angle where he can see up her skirt... I've noticed a few more than that even but I really don't recall this much lewdness in the 450+ episodes previous?

Looks like I commented too early because right after, Conan ends up walking in on Ayumi and Haibara, two lolis completely nude. Their reactions were cute and all, and Conan didn't even seem to acknowledge the fact that he just got a lucky eyeful of the little cuties... (｡●́‿●̀｡) but still, nothing like this used to happen. These aren't even complaints, just observations. I enjoy a little fan-service as much as anyone else of course(✿◠‿◠)

An odd stepback on the other hand is that Kogorou doesn't seem to smoke cigarettes basically at all anymore. He even went as far as turning down a request to visit a smoking lounge with someone during the 13th movie, which stood out to me as furthering the fact that he isn't really being shown as a smoker anymore. Now he just needs to put down the bottle and he'd be a reformed man lol

I know that, that's why I was pointing out that there was a sudden spate of lewd scenes in a series that otherwise never had any of this kind of content, and not long after this episode there's a scene with Kisaki-sensei where a culprit threatens to s*xually assault her and film it, which has literally never happened in the series, and after that there's no lewd content ever again. It just seemed like the writing took a strange turn for a bit. In response to your other comment that Ayumi is still a kid, she's also still a girl, and if anything that should be all the more reason that Conan should have a bit of decency and not stare directly at them, nor point out that he clearly looked at their bums

did you forget the big dragon horn island in the middle of the ocean with Crew-Cut-Yokomizo twin? Conan basically led him around by the nose till Okiya stepped in and gave a helping hand.
